At Wild Journey Forest School, we believe that all children have the right to connect with the land through access to self-directed immersive nature-play. We do highly encourage families to fully understand and align with our model prior to enrollment to assure our time together is collaborative, fruitful and joyous for all.​​

Process for Interested Families:

• First, request a copy of our Family Handbook here, to familiarize yourself with our program policies, procedures, etc.

• Next, families can fill out the 2026-2027 Enrollment Form here and pay the processing fee.

• We will add your name to a slot at one of several Spring Open House events to tour the program and ask questions. We can also work to accommodate a private tour on a different date, as needed. 

• When families decide to enroll, we will send over the remaining enrollment paperwork and collect the required annual supply fee and non-refundable deposit fee to hold your spot.

• As a small program, we have a limited number of spots to offer. Once enrollment is full we will maintain an official waitlist. Families will be offered a space based on availability.

At WJFS, we believe that just as a thriving ecosystem depends on the rich biodiversity of plants and animals to sustain, so does a vibrant learning community. Such communities flourish through the variety of experiences, strengths, and perspectives its members bring. We intentionally cultivate a community that reflects the broader world around us, considering factors such as age and gender balance, family philosophy, and all aspects of diversity, to create a space as dynamic and enriching as nature itself. Like a well-balanced ecosystem, this diversity strengthens our program, fostering empathy, acceptance, and individuality.

We also aim to source assistance for families who may not otherwise be able to participate.
